In long-term records of unstable volatile liquid systems, backflow repeatedly appears within recorded formation events. When liquid returns toward previously developed areas, existing structures may become partially covered, altered, or visually changed. Archived records show a wide range of outcomes following backflow, indicating it is not consistently associated with a single result.

In recorded events, returning liquid moves across regions that had already undergone visible development. This behavior includes:

  • Localized coverage where liquid re-enters small, specific areas.
  • Extensive coverage where returning liquid spans across larger surface areas.

The presence of coverage alone does not correspond to a single fixed outcome within the archive.

Development Following Backflow

Liquid activity often continues after backflow occurs. Subsequent stages may involve:

  • Continued liquid movement across previously settled zones.
  • Evaporation and liquid reduction over time.
  • Accumulation of material and secondary structural changes.

Because these changes continue, backflow functions as one stage within a larger formation process rather than a final state.

Sediment Observations and Unrepeatable Outcomes

As liquid movement slows, sediment remains visible within recorded structures in varying ways:

  • Sediment Visibility: Some records show clear, localized sediment accumulation in the final state, while others display very little.
