Line Width Variations Within a Single Formation
Noticeable differences in line thickness frequently coexist within the same liquid formation:
- Coexisting Widths: Narrow lines and broader lines develop alongside each other in the same structure.
- Changes Over Time: Individual line widths do not always stay constant; a single line can widen gradually during development, or widen only in specific sections while neighboring areas remain narrow.

Preserved lines appear across different regions and shape the overall visual appearance without following a single fixed pattern:
- Distribution Variations: The total number, spatial arrangement, and thickness of preserved lines differ between individual events.
- Dominant Line Features: Some formations preserve mostly broader lines, others retain a higher count of fine linear marks, while many develop both types simultaneously.
