Certain phenomena produce clear visual changes that are easy to track as liquid movement develops:
- Movement changes: Boundary shifts, direction turns, and backflow paths.
- Structural changes: Localized compression zones and shifting line borders.

Presence and Visibility of Environmental Factors
Archive logs span warm and cool periods, different times of year, and varied room setups. The visibility of these background conditions varies between logs:
- High visual markers: Environmental conditions show through clear shifts in surface structure or line movement.
- Low visual markers: Conditions exist in the background during the log but leave no distinct visual marks on the dried material.


Overlapping Factors in Liquid Development
Liquid behavior develops where multiple conditions exist at the same time, including heat, gravity, liquid properties, surface conditions, and room environment. Because these factors overlap during events, individual conditions are rarely recorded in isolated states.
